i remember last year guy was hypin how they signed with ruff ryders, how they were doin things in NYC. Ruff Ryders are not dead and all this stuff. Now he been missing since january.
Good for you...I'm sure you almost hoped nothing would happen just so you could leave those perls of wisdom. Did you map out and finish your grand master plan from last year?
i feel you on them disappearing from here though. i remember the guy from the group i just remember his name was doodie brown or something was always giving updates and stuff and then all of a sudden POOF they ain't been around.
how is it people don't be on here for months and then you make a thread about them and they pop up like POOF. Does that mean you guys are still on here just not posting? I swear ain't this dude post in hella long.
i'm the owner of flo masters and i am on here every day. the ruff ryders deal fell through. doodie jones and i flew to new york and came to an agreement with them for a label deal. we were supposed to go back and get all of our artists under contract basically make our label legit. some of our artists decided that they wanted to renegotiate and thought they had us in a position. cats wanted ownership in the label. then we did a showcase for them in vegas during allstar and dudes was late and disorganized and they stoped fucking with us. we didn't have our paperwork straight and dudes was acting like they was superstars.
some dudes went they own way and formed gang green. they doing they thing right now doodie jones was managing them but not anymore. he doing his own management thing. flo masters has a new certified ryders album about to drop and two other groups ghostfaces and S.C. f.k.a tha famm
hate to admit it but you did. dee got caught up with a key in a secret compartment. the stop was shaky, no real probable cause so he got action at beating the case. he a real dude. one of the realest i ever met. he got a multimillion dollar label on his hands but he would rather be in harlem, yonkers and the bronx. ruff ryders as a street movement is super strong, bike clubs and the whole nine. but the label is pretty much through
we needed to try and get some major dough, because as hard as we was grinding, throwing our own shows, mixing and mastering our songs as professional as possible, trying our best to be proffessional and work hard. we could never get that other level of bay love. hardly no spins on the radio, no super hypy's (they had 29 of them bitches and we could not get on one) no magazine coverage without buying an ad. if the local magazines and radio ain't showing you love you ain't gonna sell. you look up and you sell 2500 and artists blessed by kmel has sold 15000 and getting paid shows and doing paid verses, that indie ain't gonna look so glamorous. i know some other indie ceo's that spent 20-30k on getting they shit off the ground and did not sell 1000 copies. we still on it and we keeping it street, but i can't front we want to be in ozone, want to be on kmel, but it is what it is.

thats some real honesty for your ass right there. yall asked and he came on here and kept it real, where as a lot of other industry people who claim to do big shit that falls thru would just say "fuck yall, you hatin" he broke down exactly what happened, even if it wasn't a good look for his camp. the industry needs more realism

gang green was supposed to be a new name for flo masters, but it ain't work out. bay cats know gang green as flo masters. the gang green that is going now is midas and his homies. long beach, colorado and new orleans together. no bay connect at all. all the bay heads that was in gang green is now back riding strictly as flo masters
