since we are excluding the romp 1 from this discussion, I would definitely have to say Stupid Doo Doo Dumb.. I was livin in OC during 98-99 and I would bump the fuck out that shit in my ride... Fools took notice and was wonderin who in the fuck is that your bumpin?
I'm pretty sure that the first track "Lifes a bitch" set the stage for the rest of the album.. To me all the MD discs got rotation, so i can't really single out one particular disc that brought him back. I will say this though.. I think DRE was watchin over us last weekend cause we went to this lil place called the Poppy Lounge in Pleasanton... My boy walked to the Dj and asked him to play a song of dre's.. dude say alright.. my other boy went up to him and told him the same.. about 40 mins later the words came on "When I pull up to the light, the people all stare" It gave me the chills and I had the wierdest feeling man.. I'm on crutches so obviously I can't dance, but please believe my boys set it off...The dj followed it up with thizz dance... I know Dre said "Yuk gets the party started" but this nite Dre definitely got the party started.. one love, to nobody..

RIP DRE
right as i started 2 read the "When I pull up to the light, the people all stare" that song came on. Ill admit i slept on dre's new style but after i heard ronald dregan & the genie of lamp i started 2 get back into dre & i jus heard thizzle washington which is a slept on album. He has alwayz came tight from when he started until his untimely death, but he will never die cause he will live on threw his music 4ever. R.I.P. MAC DRE

The Cover for Thizzelle Washington

The cover for Thizzelle Washington was turned down by Dre, he was like i dont want all them colors and the pink shit, and we started designing another cover, Dre has put a print out of the cover on his fridge at one of his spots where he had the studio, people was like "you a dman fool for that shit"!! by this time i had completed the 2nd design for Thizzelle Washington and Dre and Kilo called me and told me he wanted to use the 1st cover, i was like which one, he was like "the Austin Powers one"! When that album 1st drop you couldnt help but look at the cover and laugh, we took those pics on his balcony, he had just pcked his fro out. RIP Dre.

I remember Stupid doo doo dumb getting high praise in the Source. It was the featured Independent album if I remember and said "we hope he can stay out of jail and continue making good music". I wonder how neither major rap magazine hasn't even had one article or notice of Mac Dre's passing??? Dumb bitches
