I am getting into this guy big time, his tracks "Easy Does It" along with "I Choose You" (a Gza sample) and "Tell Me Why Has Our Love Turned So Cold" (the Three 6 Mafia "Stay Fly" sample) are amazing.

The "Easy Does It" song is rapidly becoming my favorite song of ANY GENRE ANY TIME. The lyrics, the music, they just can't be beat.

I'm a huge fan of Willie Hutch (and oldies/soul in general).

My favorite album by Hutch is The Mack Soundtrack.

My favorite oldies artist is Brenton Wood. You should check him out. His work is amazing.

If you want anymore suggestions on oldies let me know. Cocaleafs seems to know alot to from reading the post on oldies in the open forum so I would hit him up too.

Oh yeah and if you like oldies artist who have had their music sampled in rap songs check out the Delfonics. Click here to check out their all music page

Some artist to sample them are Notorious Big on Playa Hater (Hey Love by Delfonics), Nas and Lauren Hill on If I Ruled the World...the chourse is a version taken from Walk Right Up to the Sun by Delfonics to name a couple.

Their song Tell Me This Is a Dream is one of my favorite songs period.
