This is not being asked in a sarcastic way, so before anyone takes offense like I am being a dick, I just want to know what would make you happy as a fan.

My personal take on it is simple. I hope Tech keeps doing exactly what he is doing. Honestly I hope he keeps putting together projects with a goal in mind. I think the Mixed Plate is doing exactly what it was designed to do... reach all of the Kansas City fan base that had abandoned him when Anghellic hit, and along with that to tempt the mainstream fan base to finally give him his shot. Even though Tech has always repped the town, this was different, this had a Kansas City Staple on the front and was the namesake. The first single was about K.C. and Gates, and it features mainly cats from K.C. To be honest it kinda throws me back to listening to CBTS on certain tracks, (just has that feel to me). Whether some of us like the reason, Kansas City has Tech N9ne on the tip of their tongue, and in a city where we desperately want a winner (loyal Chiefs fans even though we have no championships since 69') Tech is a winner, he is putting our city on the map all over the world. Even though this project has more of a mainstream sound, his delivery and flow are as sharp as I can remember. (especially on FAR OUT) Kansas City is proud of this cat and he has been deserving it for a long time. He didn't forget Scoob, the RDV’s, the thing with ICY ROC is fixed and the dude is constantly trying to please someone and what you will find is you can’t please everyone all the time. Every target he aims at it seems as if he eventually hits it. My collection of his music is as deep as anyone’s you can find and I think this material is uniquely good. As someone who has been promoting Tech for a long time there was always people who just couldn’t get into some of his material. For that mainstream kinda fan, I can use this material to get them to listen. I just want to see what fan base they go after next.

Had some time on my hands.

Tech just needs to make creative musicc...there were only a handful of creative traccs on GMP and the rest were the same recycled mainstream garbage thats everywhere....its ok to have a song or two like that on your album cuz thats whut's gonna sell but if you're not creative you'll get lost in tha shuffle

All I'd like from Tech would be for him to do songs with a purpose in mind. The whole "rapping your life" thing isn't bad if you're selective about what you write about. I want originality. If Tech's going to talk about tired topics then he could at least add a twist to it. If he wants to do party albums he could at least put some effort instead of relying us to lower our standards just because it's got a "light" label. Now on GMP there were moments where Tech did drop nice verses scattered throughout the album. But when I listen to music I don't listen to parts of songs. You guys don't do that either. I don't hear anyone saying "The Blueprint 3 was great. I didn't like the songs individually but if you pick and choose certain verses they were dope." I don't hear anybody else say the same shit about Eminem's or Drake's new shit. But with GMP the only defense people seem to form is--and I paraphrase-- "Tech shows he still got it on some verses, yeah the features suck, yeah the hooks are corny and yeah it's a little repetitive but it's a light album so it's okay!"

I want Tech to stop putting out collab albums, because the people he collabs with suck ass.

But I mean, put out whatever you want. I'll just buy the solo albums from now on, that's all. I've never heard a bad album from Tech that's a solo. I even think Killer is a great album. Some songs are better than others, but the ones that I like are fuckin' awesome.

to be honest, and it takes a lot for me to post this since i know i'm about to get flamed,

but i want tech to be happy.

dude has given us SOOOO much GREAT music (not only him, but strange music as a whole) and he hasnt ever gotten exactly what he wanted. I do not like everything that he has ever put out, nor am i a 'nut rider' as some of you may say. But if this is the music that dude wants to make right now, why the fuck cant he? because somebody is gonna get upset at him?

(i will say that GMP does sound a lot more radio-friendly than anything else....but lets not let the world end over 1 album. KOD WAS ORIGINAL. that was the last album he put out.)

I want a true "solo" Tech N9ne album. If he needs to have a Kaliko/Kutt track, make it a bonus feature or something. But, we already get full "collabo" albums.

Unless it's an Eminem, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg...I'd love to see a Tech album that's pretty much all him. And, if he did a tour for it, a two hour Tech only set. If Kaliko or Kutt have to be there, no mini-sets. A two hour Tech set, preceded by 1-2 openers at most.

What is up with the good old productions Ronnz brought to all of us,....
I mean,...I do know the story why this connection was "cut"....
I´d like to hear from tech what´s up with the situation,...but ROnnz did´not quit makin´music because he wanted to join the army,or give flute lessons,or what else...he never really quitted!!it´s just sum kinda hibernatîon ;)

Isn't this contradictory? I mean, you say he needs to completely change up who he's getting production from, and then proceed to say you want more of one of the producers he has been working with.

I want less collabos, period. Cut the collabo albums, and reduce the amount of features on his solo albums.

I was thinking about this today, and it struck me that since Tech's Ang/AP days the number of features per album has seemed to increase (and in my mind, the music's quality has decreased)... if anyone wants to do some counting and confirm it feel free (I'm lazy as shit).

Most of Tech's greatest songs are ones that are SOLELY HIM

Just my 2cents

This Ring, Industry Is Punks (Yeah I know Kaliko sings the hook), Come Gangsta, That Owl, Trapped In A Psycho's Body.

More so what I meant with that post are songs with ALL Tech verses.
