Some of the new changes going into effect are dope, like the free gallery photo listings for power sellers and the lower listing fees. The shitty new change is this whole thing about how buyers will be the only ones allowed to leave negative feedback! What do you sellers think of that? Here is a link to all the changes going into effect.

http://pages.ebay.com/sell/update08/overview/index.html

1. Reduced Listing Fees
You asked, we listened. We're reducing Insertion Fees and adjusting Final Value Fees to lower your up-front cost to sell on eBay. You wanted free Gallery, now you've got it--plus more feature discounts.
* Lower insertion fees
* Free Gallery picture with every listing
* Lower fees for Gallery Plus, Picture Pack, and Feature Plus

2. Rewards for great sellers
There will be discounts and incentives for those who satisfy customers best. Who decides who gets rewarded? Customers do, by giving sellers high Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs).
* More search exposure through Best Match
* Fee discounts for PowerSellers
* Increased protection for PowerSellers

3. Feedback Changes
Significant changes coming soon will increase buyer confidence and showcase good sellers.
* Buyers will only be able to receive positive Feedback.
* Positive repeat customer Feedback will count and Feedback more than 12 months old won't.
* Negative and neutral Feedback left by the buyer will be removed for transactions in which a buyer doesn't respond to the Unpaid Item (UPI) or if the member is suspended.

I was just about to post this! I FUCKIN LOVE IT! Free Gallery on ALL listings, lowered fees, plus powersellers with excellent DSR's gets a discount on FVF's!

I bet you eBay saw a change in activity when they kept raising their fees n shit! LOL! Because I stopped listing for a while due to their ridiculous fees.

You know I am about to get back into it ASAP! LOL!

^ GODDAMN! I missed that one...

I think eBay is trying to pull more sellers in to list shit. The more people sell, the more they get with their FVF. Smart move by lowering the listing fees and reeling in sellers to list more items.

that 8.75% final value fee ends up with them taking more money then they do now before the reduced listing fee's including paying for the gallery. for instance, a cd that sells for $40, they take $2.10 right now, but it'll be $3.50 with the new fee.

sucks but there's nothing we can do bout it. hope paypal don't raise their percentage rates too

Nothing is free, 3.5% increase to the final value fees, largest jump ever.
yea they didn't do nothin. ebay needs major work right now. them and paypal both. they also need to protect sellers from gettin played by these deadbeat bidders too or shady buyers leavin all these negative feedbacks tryin to get over on sellers or fuck up sellers' reps. ebay need a 800 number too lol

not really related, but what´s the deal when some guys put their starting price and later during the same auction if no-one bids then they lower their prices, like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Andre-Nickatina...goryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

this had few days ago 33.00 $ starting price. now 18.50 $

http://cgi.ebay.com/U-D-I-Drinks-On...goryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and this had 19.00 $ , now it starts with 9.50

kinda weird. lol, well it´s goin in a right direction.

If I was still Selling on Ebay, I'd be a bit bummed at this.
I had enough headaches and moved on awhile back, and I am sure glad I did as it looks as it's not going to stop.

I for one couldn't give a rat's ass what changes were made... Ebay will still always be a pathetically and incompetently run company... With their even more pathetic pseudo customer support/help department passing as sliced bread to the uneducated... I will still get by because people still recognize good customer care and service and legit original music (that isn't getoblasted/or german/japan booted). And those who don't well they'reup a paddle lol... Because I won't lose... They only made things worse on sellers now and attempted once again to pull the wool over the eyes of fools. Which is not very difficult to do... Listing is cheap though, for me at least :)
