Titty Boi was ridiculous. I can see the rational behind that

But in general, I am firmly against that practice.
This. Nobody was ever gonna buy a CD by a dude named Tity Boy. Usually name changes don't do anything but make you lose your casual fan base that doesn't care enough to find out you go by another name.

Switching to Young Boy Mess Mess after you've been in the game for 15 years is incredibly dumb...

Then there are all the rappers who called themselves Young [insert something] - what are you going to do with a name like this in your late 30s...

For example, Young Jeezy is 37 (and he used to go by the name of Lil J in the beginning, then switched to Young Jeezy)

Lil Bow Wow is now just Bow Wow. Young Jeezy changed his name to Jeezy. Naming yourself Young _____ is stupid to begin with.

It depends, some people's name so big all a new lil stupid name change does is bring lots of publicity (snoop, diddy etc.) There was also wutang where everyone was so dusted name changes were like a weekly basis lol

There there is the quick change and quick change back like Noreaga/N.O.R.E becoming P.A.P.I haha
