about players coming out early....isnt it that they cant leave until they are a junior or a certain age..........what do yall think bout that?


I think it is a good thang, it makes the quality of players in the NFL top notch unlike in the NBA where its is watered down with alot of players that shouldnt be there yet, just think how good the NBA would be if all these players would of stayed in college until they were at least juniors......probably alot of the players that didnt even make in in the NBA would be decent players then.....dont get me wrong, there are always exceptions but I think the overall quality would be better.......so do yall think the NFL would be better if they allowed anyone over 18 to play the NBA or not

just thought I would throw this question out...I am a big advocate for players staying in school....mainly because I like college sports and it makes them more exciting plus in return it makes the pro sports more exciting in the long run because they are getting better quality players.....try to stay away from the money issue, I am tryin to come at this topic from a quality player stand point

Shit it dont really matter to me, cause there are positives and negatives either way!! So I just flow with it! But I do believe that if a freshman wants to come out, then he should be able to, I mean look at hoop u can go str8 from high school!! I mean if a dude does decide to go to school atleast a year, then he should have the right to come out after 1 year! Thats my only gripe!! GOT EM!!!

95% of highschool football players are not physically conditioned enough to play in the NFL...they would get killed...

I believe the NBA should instill an age limit, or at least have a triple A system like baseball

The main reason I suggest Triple A B-Ball is because a lot of highschoolers main reasons for going pro is to make money to provide for their families. In a AAA system they would get paid while learning more fundamentals...

BTW yall, ive alwayz wondered wut it takez to get in tha NFL. do u HAVE TO go to college? or can they pick your ass up off tha streetz if you're good enuff to play? i know tha practice squad memberz can be straight off tha streetz cuz my homeboy'z couzin wuz on tha practice squad for tha Raiderz a few yearz back, and from wut ive been told that fool didnt even finish high school much less go to college. i kynda figured that you could play in tha NFL without having gone to college cuz hey, if you're on tha practice squad and they realize you're better at your position than everyone else, they'd start you. doez anyone know?

No you don't have to go to college. You just have to be three years removed from graduating high school.

Eric Swann never went to college. He was playin semi-pro ball in New England, when the Cardinals picked him up.

Yo matt..cause i dont feel like it! Tone already knows the deal. Since he gave me some silly shit to post, and not a real football pic, I got technical and told him the bet was that i would put his pic in my sig, but I never said i have to attach it to my replies! But if he gave me a regular pic then i would attach, so u guess he was coo wit how it is! As far as this post goes. Yea u dont have to go to college to play NFL ball, but I still dony like the farm system shit! GOT EM!!

the NFL does have sort of a Farm System in the World League. Then with Arena Football and the CFL, etc some players develop there as well. like Kurt Warner or a Jeff Garcia.
