u shouldn't go cheap on your shit, if your gonna spend money then u might as well start out with some good shit... get u a rode mic which starts at $200 i believe... and find a good pre-amp for that.... if u want to record on your comp, find u a copy of cubase sx..... if not, then go to ebay and find u a roland vs-880 or 890 digital recorder which starts at around $450.... that should start u off rather well....

so i can eitha get a cubase sx program or roland software? cuz i can get cubase but it needs some shit, cuz it always says error n i need ta plug some shit in...yea n i do need a mic, im thinkin of gettin one, for 150 dollars, not 200 but still ok for me, im just startin, n a pre-amp, is what i need, but i dunno howta hook all this shit up together.
