yes, there are many half truths in history as well as now. Most all of what is considered "common knowledge" is half false. Anyway......
Christmas is just another day. You make of it whatever you wish. It can be a happy day or a sad one. Nothing is going to stop you from being happy except your unhappiness. You hold the key to that deciding factor for your own being......

explain. How do you decorate a tree like a pagan?? as opposed to decorating a tree like a christian? Or are you implying that the mere act of decorating a tree is something a "pagan" would do? The holiday is still based on "christianity" no matter if people forget this or not. I suppose, when deciding these things, people felt it would be a little inappropriate to decorate a crucifix. In the end, the true meaning of December 25th is whatever you want it to be. Some people embody the fact of Christmas as the birth of Jesus Christ and actually celebrate it with their family. And some just get a tree and wrap presents. Christmas is a christian holiday to those who are Christian. And it is a "pagan" holiday to those who are "pagan".
