CHECK OUT TAJ-HE-SPITZ, HE GOT A DOPE FLOW AND DELIVERY ALSO HE'S TIGHT IN CONCERT, HE'S STILL HELLA YOUNG BUT CAN GO TOE TO TOE WITH ANYBODY ON THE MIC. HE'S GONNA MAKE A LOT OF EMCEE'S STEP THEIR GAME UP.

ALSO LOOK FOR COGNITO TO GET THE PARTY STARTED WITH HIS HIGH ENERGY SONGS AND SHOWS. HIS CONCERTS ARE INCREDIBLE.

IF YOU LIKE THAT GANGSTA SHIT, CHECK OUT AP.9 OF THE MOB FIGAZ. TO ME THE REALEST CAT IN THE GAME.

FOR THAT CLASSIC MOBB SHIT CHECK OUT THE LEGEND, B-LEGIT, HIS SHIT ALWAYS COMES CORRECT AND IS STILL AMAZING.

HOT PRODUCERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON ARE INDECENT, ONE OF THE BEST IN THE YAY RIGHT NOW, AND MURDOC WHO WILL BE THE BEST OF THE BEST VERY SOON

these are my opinions so dont take personell even artists.

taj-he spits got good presence and delivery and has the look. but hes not saying nothing different that isnt being said. his seperation would be money if his camp got it. he is a youngster so you cant blame him. but he has a future with the right team. ive been a fan of ap-9 so i know the energy he brings to the table. hes too hardcore for the radio. he definately could be a factor no doubt with the right single and pieces in place. he gets support from the streets. hes a definate canditate as we speak. b-legit is a mob legend. he can make it happen but in my opinion is too old to really be on an probably could care less cause hes getting it regardless. ive never heard of cognito outside this website. the artist i feel that needs to represent this region has to be full of energy and hungry. ap-9 gets my vote. wasnt feeling taj-he-spits energy. but im only one opinion.

if your talking about artist that could step up RIGHT NOW and represent the region, then i think theres a few artist that could do it but no one that isnt already known...for example: clyde carson or Ya Boy are both already known throughout the west and gettin national exposure and are pretty good bay reps....but i dont feel that any artist less known than them from the bay hav what it takes to really get serious recognition...at least not at the moment

Husalah would be the best bet if it wasnt for him bein locked up

but if u wanna talk about in about 2 years or so, then i can name a few unknowns that could easily make the moves to get themselves out there and represent the bay the right way

clyde carson and ya' boy both got the flow and literacy needed.

clyde carson and ya boy are definate canditates from an artist stand point. music in my opinion and artists need to be literate to have good word play. sorry but in my opinion hussalah is even close regardless of what some kids may think. jacka and ap-9 are by far more competent in my opinion. im not saying your a kid so please dont take it personell. it was a figure of speech.

naw i aint takin it personal

but u did say represent the region on a national level, and wether or not u wanna believe it, mainstream rap isnt really focused on wordplay or bein competent (not that im sayin hus aint competent)...all i know is that it would be nice for Husalah to rep the bay on a high level because he has good swag (similar to mac dre's)...his personality alone could get him alot of fans with the right song

Boo Banger would be a good look i mean he's young and yall heard him rip the SF anthem so yeah.
Regal- a lot of yall might not know about him but great songwriter, stupid bars and production, he got a good rap voice.
Louie Loc-best latin mc period.

lets look at the top of the echelon if i spelled that right. jay-z in my opinion is the most rounded artist because of his intelligence. he doesnt have that young d-boy swagger but confidence in his game and himself. music is an image no doubt, but mind power and understanding what it takes is what we lack

jayz is a good business man...as far as his rapping goes, i cant stand him, he's extremely overrated IMO...just like 50 cent

jay-z is overrated but he's not garbage nor is 50. Who could rep the bay on a national level? I would have to say baily the champ. If he got a hold of some better beats he could do it

but the millions of albums soundscanned dont lie. music is a business wether some want to believe it or not. it doesnt make you who you are like some let it. ive never heard of boo banger or regal. louie loc is definately one of the top latin artists in the bay. but hes a big show. the streets wont support him. thats my opinion though. if you want to make money, and im talking real money you need radio play point blank. or keep sticking up lames in the game. that baby bash article sums it up for the haters. hes the hottest latino from a success standpoint and in the end thats all that matters.

best selling rap artist of 2007 was Kanye West if im not mistaken...jayz dropped, he aint doin the same numbers he used to, same with 50....Kanye had the biggest buzz going

i mean seriously, soulja boy almost sold as much as jayz...

kanye is the best as we speak no doubt. who dropped his album.

soulja boy made a one hit wonder in my opinion but it took a majors push and budget to get it. i cant knock him, hes getting it. he had the image and got picked up by someone with money. the key to success is money. jay-z legacy is based on consistency not an album. thats what i meant.

i know wat u meant, but from my understanding ur just asking who can represent the bay right now....cuz we already hav artist similar (but on a smaller scale) to him (e-40)

and as for soulja boy havin a budget....not really...he made all the beats on the sample version of fruityloops...so only money spent on the cd was studio time and printing em up...but he definitly did get a shit load of exposure
