Fanta leaves are the shit, but so hard to find! Backwoods are the next best thing, but rolling them is an art in itself. I usually take the canvas and remove the thick veins, and usually make 2-3 blunt wraps from one leaf (I usually just roll personals). But yeah, after 5 years of just swishers, and then 3 years of backwoods (I blame going to school in DC)...I've finally been off blunts for about a year now. I stick to vaporizing and joints, but will hit a blunt if its a special occasion.

man, don't any place in the bay unfortunately. I only know one place that sells them and that's this reggae shop in North Hollywood, and sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. and you have to request it at the counter.

but i did a little web research and came across this site that i'd never seen before http://www.leafonly.com/

my friend who buys the fanta from the north hollywood place, says that the prepackaged and commercialized stuff isn't as good as the stuff that's not branded, but who knows this site seems to have a lot of options.

Yeah in DC you could only get it "behind the counter" at some random stores owned by islanders usually. It was a few bucks for a zip lock full of a big leaf, and you cut off pieces as you need. Some rastas I knew put pieces of the leaf in their joints, but my other homie just rolled blunts using just fanta leaf.

You guys never use just tobacco leaf? If I'm smoking a blunt 8/10 times its gonna be from some straight tobacco leaf usually grown in one of my friends gardens. Shit is not hard to grow.

ya that shit is super sensitive, but the la palma dutches with the inner paper isn't bad if you're willing to roll a 2 grammer

I used to think backwoods made my weed taste like shit n hella harsh but after smokin em for awhile I can taste the weed real good. Better than swisher.

Plus like I do what wax did, roll 2 outta one backwood maybe 3. I only smoke blunts n my volcano. Swishers just gets hella resiny towards the end. Backwood is more so personal n don't need to put 2 grams n waste it.

Most folks hate it n says it makes the weed taste like shit. I disagree. But to each it's own. I'll smoke 3 backwoods n not have all that resin shit in the end of my blunt vs one swisher n the end of it just taste like dookie n resin on the tip.

Just my opinion though. But I'll admit i used to fuckin hate backwoods til my room mate got me into em. Took a little bit to get used to but now I love it.
