I got asked how my friends would describe me. What I don't like in a working environment. What my biggest fault is, in my own opinion, and what I didn't like about my past employers. Oh, and what I think about the rules places set.

Try not to bitch and complain about past employers because they don't want someone who will complain alot. Eye contact. Not the creepy kind though lol.

Depends on what type of job youre applying for.. I've done different types of interviews... the worst was a 5 panel.. fuck that...

Why did you leave your last job....what did you like the least/most about your last job... what are your strongest/weakest qualities... why should we hire you.. what do you want from "insert company name"..... where do you see yourself in 5 years... what type of salary are you expecting... what color are your panties... err.. the last one probably wont apply to you though.

Eye contact... confidence and a firm hand shake are important... as well as eliminating the umms, uhhhs and yeahs from your vocabulary.

the timing on this thread is great; i have a set of interviews from monday to wednesday next week and am actually taking a break from studying up on some shit, little did i know i would be copying down these questions and writing up answers ahead of time to be fully prepared

I actually work there right now but as a contractor.. i didnt even really get interviewed at all, they want to bring me on as full time employee and i'm going to have a total of 14+ hours of interviewing at the start of next week, pretty damn nervous.

thanks all for your input on this thread!
