what OS are u running?

i use Digital Performer for my shit... works great
the current version is Digital Performer 4 for OSX, but if you're running classic, you can run Digital Performer 3... and it's compatible with an array of plug-ins... one of them being Waves Gold/Platinum

Pro Tools is Cool(if you have the TDM systems or the HD systems)
Pro Tools LE only Runs 32 Tracks.
With Cubase I can Run as many tracks as my Computer can handle.
So far I run up to 50 audio tracks, with EQ and effects on almost every track,
and my CPU usage was only at like 40-50%
