TERRORIST THREATS.

Do you think with this album Ice Cube WC Mack 10
can bring some of that California Sunshine
back to the West Coast??

There's been a good amount of ads and promotion

Radio singles like LIGHTS OUT and GANGSTA NATION

Talks in the Source of "single handedly" saving
West Coast Rap.

PeeP the Ice Cube Interview before responding......

They're not singlehandly bringing the west back. It would have to be a new rapper to blow up like a 50 Cent, from Cali, and then it would bring the spotlight back.

Ice Cube last had the spotlight with WestSide Connection, but that was '97, its been 6 years so I dont think its gonna happen. But their new single is cool. Im probly gonna get that cd.

Well, I've listened to six songs so far that were posted here and on WEST COAST AFTERSHOCK: "Lights Out", "Gangsta Nations", "Too Many Rappers In Love", "Call 911", "Pimp The System" and "Get Ignit." I thought all of those were dope except "Get Ignit" (the beat sounds like it needs to "pound" a little harder than it does--cool lyrics, though). So far, so good...

As far as whether it brings the West back, hope springs eternal, but I wouldn't hold my breath--technically, whole coasts (or even whole cities) don't all just "blow up" at the same time anymore; only individual rappers and groups do. And like Jose said, a number of BRAND NEW rappers would have to emerge before the media in general swung their attention back to Cali--one person or group can't do it alone. But I'll probably buy TERRORIST THREATS based on what little I've heard.

PEACE!
