When people think WEST they think DRE and SNOOP, But in the late 90's, after Bow Down, Ice Cube and Mack 10 had LA on lock, and a whole gang of talent under their wing. I waz lovin that shit back then too, especially WC's first two CD's, Mack 10's first joint and that South Central Los Skanless.

CJ MAC and K-DEE came hard too.

Which one of these groups did you like the best?

They all had some good shit out. Can't really pick one. Maybe The Comrads, as they had some more stuff out and Gangsta's last solo was a banger...

"O.G. 'S TRIPPIN" BY KAUSION IS BUMPIN!!!

I could bump that whole CD to this day, I like the concept behind that song too. Kausion gets my vote, South Central Los Skanless is a CLASSIC to me, takes me back to middles schoo. THis shit is dope.

I'm suprised it's a tie, 6, 6 and 6, Road Dawgs w/ one vote

Allfrumthai takes a close second though

seems like all these groups came with Diss songs after parting ways though, ungrateful??? or just exposing studio gangstas???

THE COMRADS WERE ok.
SAME WITH ALLFRUMTHAI.

BUT IN GENERAL, THEY WERE ALL VERY DISPOSIBLE.
This is true.... & in the end they were disposed of. I honestly didn't see any of these groups bringing anything new & unique to the LA scene or the rap game in general. Kausion were minors with tremendous room for growth so that kind of puts them all in a sort of different standing. them other niggas wasn't gonna get any better then what they already were IMO.
