Well "Eugenius" produced alot of traccs for "Mix-A-Lot" and "Criminal Nation" out of Tacoma Wa. and "High Performance" was anutha group outta Tacoma that was kinda big in the Northwest for a minute. Both "Criminal Nation" and "High Performance" could've enjoyed more success in the game had there been more avenues for artists in the Northwest and if "Mix-A-Lot" would've done the right thing and helped blow up the whole Northwest instead of himself. He stepped on alot of toes to get where he got and burned alot of bridges...Now he aint big time no more and he bacc feeding off what lil buzz he got left in the Northwest.

okay heres the politically correct answer ,seattle is a great city and sacramento is great to and guess what PORTLANDS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF BOTH ! LOL and is a cool ass city no only because i live here because i have lived in cali and seattle i grew up in the bay its all love for cali and washington ,i think portland is the best spot for the museum just because people like to travel to go see it,just like the NFL hall of fame is in canton ohio? im sure seahawks or raiders fans would want them in thier cities, plus the cost of property in cali and washington is high as fawk!,hopefully if it gets done where ever it winds up bieng at that everyone will come to support it!!!!! right now its looking like portland finacially and location wise and support of hip hop from all demographics

Nasty Nes would be the man to talk to. Gene Dexter may be of some help as well.

I'm not sure if you've ever seen it.....but the EMP has a NW Hip-Hop section that has lots of stuff from back in the day. I wish I would have saved more stuff or took better care of it.
