Death. We as humans cannot ignore it. We are all going to die. Where are we going to go? is there a reason why we die? What is it going to be like when we die? Why do I live on this fucked up Earth to die?

The only promise we have in life is death.

Hey, everything dies, thats the reason we get a chance to live, its lik natures balance, everythin sumhow depends on the other to live. Like if no one dies, and then there will be continious births, and soon resources will be depleted, world will be over populated etc etc..

What happens after death? Well some religions preach of reincarcarnation, some say you go to heaven or hell based on your karma, good/bad deeds etc.
And then some people say if you die of sum cause other than natural death[like if sumone kills you], your spirit keeps wandering around blah blah...
If you aint religious, i guess you just "die", but then theres that thing bout how electricity/energy cannot just 'vanish', it has to go somewhere...

Its confusing really lol, peace dogg

So how would I escape death? why do I suffer? Will this Karma really affect me in my next life? how do I know? Where does my soul go? will I reconize myself when I die?
How come I get sick and not healthy?

Actually, Life is its own promise. The promise of continous life. Life is not bound by our physical being. If we believe it is then we would be atheist. Death is merely physical. And even physically, death is not destruction. We know the scientific idea that energy is neither created nor destroyed. I think what most fear is the "death" of the "isolated ego". This isolation was conceived by man and will die by him. It is a relative thought giving no regard to the unity of reality. It is a limitation in one's mind and once overcome one will lose sight of this false fear of "death".

Why would you wish to live on the physical plane forever?

why do I suffer?

because you conceive of it.

The principle of rhythm: the pendulum swing to the right equals its swing to the left. This is inevitable but it can be transcended by vibrating on a higher plane. This is a principle from the Kybalion. It shows that we are all subject to this law of cause and effect. But, in specific cases, we can overcome the "swing of the pendulum". How we do that depends on who you are and what your trying to transcend exactly. Remember, its all in mind. If we wish to change or grow from what we perceive as a limitation we must start in mind.

"Just let your soul glow! Just let it shine!" --"Coming To America"

Oh, my bad! you said GO, not glow......

Good question. Your guess is as good as mine. I don't think we should worry though. Growth will continue.

My Zen approach: Close your eyes. Do you recognize yourself?

The same reason you "suffer". Also, in the physical world the pendulum swings; birth----death. In a process we could call.............. "decay". Perhaps this can be transcended, spiritually. The Taoists believe that we keep coming back on the physical plane even after we die until we do transcend our physical conditions. Just another idea. Regardless of how fast we grow, we do it! And eventually we will all transcend. Just as Jesus did.
