WEED, TOBACCO, ALCOHOL

There's a book about it that I read in high school. I think it's called the Emperor wears no clothes or some shit like that. The reason Weed is illegal is becuz paper can be made for cheaper if it were made out of hemp instead of trees. A lot of "important" people in this country invested lots of money in producing paper out of trees so if weed were legal they would lose a lot of money. I read the book high as fuck though so my summary could be a little off. Another interesting unrelated note is that weed is referred to as marijuana to associate it with indigenous people and Mexicans. Therefore they refer to weed as marijuana to criminalize weed. If you think about it they should just refer to it as cannabis if they didn't have an agenda.
wrong.. hemp comes from a male plant.. hemp is also a great source for ethanol.. if it was legal.. i bet we'd be usin' it as a source of energy already, or at least tryin'.. it's illegal 'cause they don't know how to tax it.. if it was legal.. the prices for a gram would dramatically go down.. otherwise everyone would just grow there own... the federal government is makin' a killin' bustin' potheads right now... and unless they can find a way to make as much money from it if it was legal.. than it would already be.. it's all about $$$$$$.
who cares. its legal in my eyes. i be chiefin pretty much anywhere i want. people dont trip on weed unless theyre po-lice, undercovers or just sum hatin ass fucker's. but i think most of america feels the same way as i do. i bet like 60% or 70% of the population smokes. maybe im talkin out of my ass but it seems like thats about right. i dunno im high.
Who are you where do you base your facts from? So when the people of America voted in a majority Democratic congress in November it was because we thought that they would make the most money not try to bring our troops home and end the pointless war? I guess that makes sense. Read some books. I aint sayin the government has good policy or anything, but if you read some books or went to websites that had that kind of information maybe you would learn some new stuff. Why would we make it illegal and suposidely make money from that while also paying billions of dollars a year on the War on Drugs??? Considering our country controlls the majority of the worlds natural resources, and we pretty much controll the trade market. And when other illegal drugs like coke and opium are worth so much more you really think that they really make that much money off of weed. Anyway the nation debt is 8.84 trillion dollars, so thats why when my generation I dont know about yours but im 20 is going to have basically no Social Security. So before you act like you know what your talking about make sure your correct.
