to me, i think tha best mob/mafia movie ever made is Goodfellas.. my fav. movie

GoodFellas is really good,
But I also like ScarFace, and Casino.

I think Casino is my over all fav.
I never heard of We Are the Night...
I want to check it out though...

Goodfellas, Casino, Godfather I & II, Miller's Crossing and On the Waterfront are the best mob movies IMO. The Departed is the most recent really good mafia movie and I think over time will be considered a classic.

Scarface is more of a drug cartel movie and although I do like it it is way overrated. You watch it these days and some parts of it are just straight up corny.

I'll be checking out We Own the Night even though it has only gotten mediocre reviews.

I like both about equally. The Scorsese one is amazing and I hate 99.9% of remakes in general and especially hate remakes of foreign cinema. So that's saying something if I like it lol.
