the meaning is that out here we "set trip", which gangs do as well but without the gang label...he's just generalizing that in the Bay, it's mostly fam/friends/blocks and not a "gang" as the word is used by most people. it's closely related but not the same.

and he's not speaking on the nortenos and surenos because he's speaking for the black folx when he says that...where the bloods and crips are not very deep in the Bay...

Yea there are all kinds of gangs and fake gangs out here. SOme are harmless and some can be a threat. But ever since this hyphy shit started poppin off i havent heard much about gangs.

there are bloods, crips, scraps & nortenos in the bay. but like someone else on here said most murders are drug-related or turf related or something else.
i mean theres hella fights and shit because of gangs, but you dont see people claiming gangs hella hard out here unless theyre latin.
out of all the black people i know none of them are bloods or crips, but they bang turfs. ya feel me?
