Yes this is liberation, this is killing a enemy insurgent, i would be disgusted in this marine's actions if the insurgents were following the ROE and the GC. However i dont think that the Geneva convention permitted the beheading of CIVILIAN NON COMBATANTS as well as EPW's. I think Abu Garab was wrong since those were defencless EPWs but this man, fuck it one less that we have to worry about feeding in Gitmo.
Who are you to say it's not? And what do you know about that Iraqi? Do you know who he was or what he did? Maybe he killed 5 marines right before he was sent to his grave.

I can not rightly say it is, because I don't understant the situation. He could have been carrying home groceries. He could have thrown a grenade into a Marine lunch room. I just don't know.
Most of the people don't understand what or how it went down. They see a person out of military uniform, with no visible weapon. Therefore a law is broken. But what can you really see?

This video was even taken out of context. This is the same clip on Farinhite 9/11. however. If you watch the whole thing the marine was like When you are up there shooting blah blah blah HELL YEAH LETS DO IT AGAIN!....but he goes on to say when you go down there and see the end results of your actions you are like........damn look what we just did (talking about when he sees the bullet riddled corpse of the life he just took). this guy in our unit showed it too us i will see if i can get it up here.
Heresy, yes the insurgents are diffrent then the SOLDIERS we first fought coming in the inital invasion. They were a uniformed army who followed the Rules of engadement and somewhat the GC. Or else jessica lynch would have been beheaded on al jazeira. However most of these "freedom fighter" insurgents are from Jordan, Syria, Iran and Saudi. Mor Jordan and Syria then other nations. They are hardcore islamic extreamests. Most of the insurgents we have captured have been from nations other then Iraq. I have talked to some ING and IP's and they were actualy part of saddams old army. They were jsut soldiers doing their duty and following orders. Now they are still soldiers and police officers following a diffrent set of orders.
