I think hes hella dope, hes got some amazing punchlines. He even makes Lord Finesse pale in comparison and Lord Finesse is the shit to me. I didnt appreciate him like I should have when he was alive.

Big L is the best ever in my opinion. Lifestylez Of Da Poor And Dangerous is a true classic for many reasons. They beats on that album was slackin big time, but his lyrics made u forget all about the beats. The Big Picture is another classic. He didnt finish it before he died, but its still good as hell.
@ Carlos...He died from 9 shots to the face and chest.

damn thats fucked up though...da dopest ones gets killed aint that fucked up or wat....i'll be sure to check out big picture though, i thought the lifestylez of poor and dangerous beats were coo as hell u know some tight old school beats but hellyea the lyrics made it 10 x better....

i have that "big pitcure" album..pretty good if you more into lyrics...they have that coo ass tupac track...

I have this jayz and bigl freestyle from like 94'...that shit preety raw...

I think at the time of his death neither mase nor camron had really blown yet.I think big l is one of the main reaons for those 2's mainstream AND ny successs...IMO

Big L is the reason a lot of NY rappers blew up. He's the reason Mase, Camrom, Fat Joe, Jay-Z and a few more blew up. Thats why I dont understand why a lot dont represent for him. They be quick to show Biggie a lot of love, but you hardly hear them show Big L any love.

I got both his albums I havent heard anyone talk about his first album since 95..

IMO he was a tight freestyler far from the best. its fucked up how he got mistakenly killed from someone he related to stupidity.

I didn't say where he or click came from who gives a shit. I was saying DJ Kid Capri is the one who got BIG L signed to his first major deal with Columbia in 1994 when he released his debut single M.V.P. .
