LMAO that shit wasnt dirty it was a hard pick. Its physical play he didnt know West was gonna jump. It looked like Manu was gonna drive through there so Horry set the pick.
Definitely. I'm not trying to defend the Spurs cause I cant fuckin stand em. They're in the same class as the jazz to me and i really hate them. point is, I just dont think it as a dirty play.
Yeah I agree, that was pretty classless by the fans chanting...... It's okay to set hard picks/screens but the intention isn't to hurt opposing players it's just 2 knock a little sense into them and get them intimidated!
Wasn't clean. Anybody thats played ball should tell you, set a screen, cover your nuts, stand upright, and swoll up. DO NOT DIP YOUR SHOULDER (like Horry did), stand still like a statue, and set one.

Of course it wasn't a text-book screen, but it wasn't dirty, and it wasn't a cheap shot. He leaned into the pick, and West came into him at a bad angle, and injured (AGAIN) his back.
You described how high school coaches teach screens, but very rarely do you see that in the NBA. It's a quick set, then roll. LOL @ any NBA players standing like statues with their nuts covered.
shit was far from dirty. it was a hard foul but thats it. he couldnt expect west to jump and he definetly made sure west was gonna feal it but he wasnt expecting to injure him.
