I called Fred Meyer to see if they got the movie "Idiocracy" in today. When I called, the swithcboard operator ask you which department you would like. I told her "electronics", and she said "does this pertain to the Wii?"I said "No". She switches me through and turnd out they have the movie.

I go over there and get the movie. As Im checking out, I ask the clerk, out of pure cuorisity, if they have any PS3's. He says "Yeah, you want one?How about 2?We have at least 12 of them". I looked a bit shocked, so I asked if he had any Wii's. He says "No, we have them back-ordered. We cant keep them instock for more than 5 hours before they are gone again."

What a flip-flop from the beginning of December. PS3's were the buzz and people were gettin killed over them. The Wii sat back in the cut ad just waited for things to fall into place.

I just thought that was good for a chuckle. Carry on.

the price is a factor but the bottom line is everyone including sony wasnt expecting the wii to compete with the PS3 and it MURDERED it in sales. i think its great.

btw i have a PS3 and i love it. i'll grab a wii when they announce punch-out for it

THE PS3 IS FIRE. I HAVE THE 360 ALSO AND I DONT CARE WHAT NOBODY SAYS THE GRAPHICS LOOK BETTER AND THE GAMES LOAD FASTER ON MY PS3 THAN THEY DO ON THE 360. ITS MY OPINION BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BENEFIT GO GET BOTH SYSTEMS BECAUSE GOD OF WAR 3 WILL BE REDICULOUS FOR THE PS3 AND ALAN WAKE WILL BE OFF THE HOOK FOR THE 360. ILL BE FLIPPIN THE WII TO WHEN I GET A CHANCE.
