whats your view on steroids in baseball?
there are a lot of ppl who dont care, its a bussiness, its all for entertainment...i think this is bullshit...ive been a baseball fan since i was a little tyke...i played up til high school where you gotta be poindexter to play the team so i didnt play...but ive always loved the game...and it sickens me that a lot of these "superstars" are setting records mainly because they juice.
i sometimes think that this has something to do w the strike...if you all remember when the strike happened, a gang of ppl were disilusioned w baseball...nobody wanted to hear athletes bitch about only making 3 mil...nowadays it seems like more and more baseball "fans" are just occasional viewers, attracted by gargantuans who hit the ball out of the park every other game.
all these records being broken, they should be in the record books w an asteriks next to them, just like maris' 61 homers, i mean come on if youre going to put an asteriks next to the mans name because the season was a itsy bitsy bit longer, you should damn well put an asteriks next to these sluggers who belt them out due to the fact tat they went from stringbeans to goddamn fitness gladiators on the diamond.
and no one seems to make the connection...HELLO ASSHOLES...you just dont gain 50 tons of muscle like nothing...and ive even heard many ppl dont care that these players use steroids.
if you dont care that they use steroids, they might as well dress these players up in tights and have them wrestle...if you dont care that shit aint real go watch wrestling or some shit.
and sure they have testing...of course the let players know in advance of the testing, and yet some of these dumb jocks still fail the test.
baseball is becoming more and more of a fucking circus every year...even hearing about a rod wanting to go here, wanting to go there...motherfucker if you really cared about the game and winning you wouldnt have gone to a piss poor ballclub for the ridiculous salary of 25 mil a year...with the Ms in the playoffs the following couple of years after you left...its quite possible you could have helped them to a series...but noooo...mofos care so much about the game that they go to the place that shells out the extra mils...like 5 or 10 mil off your salary would make a big difference, for someone like the regular shmoe it would be a big difference, for a spoiled superstar though, they want as much as they can get...i wish he would have stayed in texas...
