Wow. That was a good speech. She went right at Obama. I honestly think that McCain might win this election, which would be the biggest politcal upset in a long time. The negative image that republicans have right now should be more then enough to hand the election to the democrats, and they might blow it.

Edit: Do any of you dipshits even care? I know some of yall are smart and care about what goings on in this country.

Yeah, I don't think so. Maybe we were watching different speeches.

All she did was attack Obama with tired rhetoric. If that convices enough "simple folk" here in the US of A, i.e. dumbasses then I might book up north. This woman is a fucking idiot, her speech showed desperation, her selection as VP showed desperation, the Republicans are fucking desperate old cunts clawing to hold on to tired neo-con politics and I think they're cooked. If I'm wrong, Canada here I come. Obama please don't fuck this up.

It doesnt make a difference who wins the election the pres/vice pres has pull over nothing in this country, its just a figurehead position, of youre actually going to go out and vote, all you should reallly care about is whod youd rather see on tv more often, Obama's hella popular and will probably win, I on the otherhand wouldnt mind getting a look and Palin and her daughter, lol

She'd get the vice presidential business

This will be the highest point for the Mccain/Palin ticket, its going to go downhill, trust me.
Remember that Obama/Biden is 8 points ahead of mccain.
Remember that obama has more money, voter registration HEAVILY favors dems, bush has a 29% approval rating, big business that used to favor repubs now favor dems, military donations favor obama 6 to 1, the economy is shit and mccain twice said that "the economy isnt something i know very much about", the national enquire has hinted at a Palin affair story coming soon, mccain is old, and many more reasons why Mccain will lose

all that matters is that the national media says that she hit a "home run", if they say it the mass public will believe it.
just admit that youre a undercover republican.
THe speech was very light on substance. Palin knows hardly anything about the world. She got her PASSPORT a YEAR ago (shes never been outside the country). She did zero to appeal to hillary clinton voters.

Oh, and the republicans are on the wrong side of almost every single issue public opinion wise

well said.
By the way, in all the special congressional elections so far this year, a democrat has won, even in heavily republican districts. A sign for things to come?

it was a good speech. Very well written and well presented. You may not agree with what she said but what she said she said well and expressively.
