It dont sound bad, but yea has a lil high end...

I'd :::

1st Play with Eq, and play with the turn up the mids sets, and lower the high slightly

2nd Compression settings... play with the compression rate, maybe 4 : 1 ?

3rd Limiter, play with the threshold

4th Fuck with a light delay, or Reverb

5th if you still feel like add'n more, if you got play with a Smoother / Enhancer
effect

... I like to do that chain, plus or minus a few, depending on what im goen for

And do a effect chain on ya beat track, tell the 2 meet each other nicely

good point... I agree... I normal play with it tell it sounds good, pulling some back, and boosting others

all depends on the prob or sound you want

Yea...unless you really want that louder noise floor you should be cutting back.

Everything should be recorded at it's loudest possible level without clipping, then brought down.

It's called subtractive mixing or eq.

I didn't listen to the track, but cutting the lows is just a simple eq process. Maybe a high pass?

Dude there aren't any lows affecting those vocals, they sound hollow, maybe you need your ears checked? The vocals sound rather toward the hi's.

Practice mixing more.
