VIDEO & PICTURES FROM CINCO DE MAYO BASH & AUTOGRAPH SESSION!! 85+ PICS! CHECK IT OUT
We told you guys in advance not to miss this event, and it did not dissapoint. The Autograph Session @ the Urban Life Hip-Hop Shop was a success and the first of many to come, look out for more info soon. Then the show after was crackin as well. Shouts out to all the people who came together to make this happen, Ryan Miller from Urban Life, Daddy Rich, Jay Tee, Young Dru and myself, and all the artists, media, industry people and fans who came out and supported. When I got to the Autograph Session the line was out the door and down the stairs, it was packed with fans and industry people networking. Everything went together real cool, people were going back and forth between the store and the club since they're right next door to each other. G-Stack, The Jacka, J Stalin, Mugzi, Dru Down, Lee Majors, The Yay Boyz, and many others came out for the Autograph Session, and many more came out for the show.
Krypto lead off the show with some of his new material. And right after him, Jay Tee and Young Dru hit the stage, and instead of doing all new material, they did a dope medley of old and new stuff including Dru's “Vallejo, California”, their new club banger “Lookin At Me”, Dru's street hit “Yadada What What”, his classic with Mac Dre “Mafioso”, then Jay Tee comes on and asks the crowd if they knew the songs he did on The Rompalation, and the place went crazy, then he performed “Chop That Hoe”, “Where We Dwell”, both featuring Mac Dre and Baby Bash, then if that wasn't enough, Jay Tee was joined on stage by his partner TL and they lit up the room with the classic “Back To The Hotel”. And if Vallejo wasn't already deep enough with the first 2 sets, next up was the Sick Wid It Umbrella, which came real deep and included Mugzilla, The D.B.'z, KD Stuntz, Cheapskate, and many others. They performed a few songs off the new "The Machine" album including “Hold Yo Stack Up”, and “Yay Up”, they also did "Stewey". But the best part of the Sick Wid It set, and maybe damn near the whole night next to "Back To The Hotel", was when Mugzi grabbed the mic and told the crowd how O.G. he is in this shit, and then proceeded to do his old school Sick Wid It dance that he and the Mossie used to do in all the old videos. He gigged for like 2 minutes straight! After that Na$ty Nate who brought all of Richmond with him, hit the stage and dropped his new single "I'm Good". After him Verbal Assassinz and Sheph D did their thing as well. It was a good event, good to be around all the O.G.'s and new artists together, good to see Celly Cel, N2Deep and all the Sick Wid It cats together, G-Stack, Jacka and J Stalin and some of the media. Sorry if you missed it.... but here's plenty of pictures and video if you did.
