Soulja Boy should not have even been nominated. the only rappers that deserve to be on there are.... Talib Kweli, Scarface, Ghostface, Raekwon, Jadakiss, Nas, Method Man, Ice Cube, and Crooked I. i say Crooked I will be the under dog. but WTF how you guna make this list with no Guru from Gang Starr!?!?
as far as the Bay part goes.... i can't think of an ALIVE rapper that could compete in this besides maybe Equipto, The Jacka or A-Wax. shit i really don't know..

dont care what you say. maybe in 1992, cube and e-40 were close. since then, 40 has put together better albums, and it aint close. Lethal Injection was Cube's last good album, 40 has dropped 6 good albums since then. 40 wont win in a popularity contest, but in substance, it goes to the WATER. dont care what none of yall say.
you guys dont take this list so seriously. this isnt the greatest rapper ever list. this is rappers that are still continuously making music. there are some hard ommissions, i know, but this is a mainstream, pop type list. 95% of these cats dont belong on the list if the criteria is actually best or greatest rapper. its best rappers who actually still make music that you can see on tv from time to time.
