VIBE Awards Marred By Violence

The 2nd Annual VIBE music awards were marred by violence according to sources in Los Angeles, a fracas that resulted in the premature stoppage of the event.

While the details are vague, Dr. Dre was slated to receive the Vibe Legend Award for his achievements and contributions to Hip-Hop over the course of his life.

At some point, in the evening, Suge Knight allegedly got on stage and said, “F**k the G-Unit.” He supposedly hurled insults at others in the crowd in addition to 50 Cent’s crew.

Sources at the event told AllHipHop.com, “All hell broke loose tonight and a melee ensued involving Quincy Jones, Snoop, Dr. Dre, Suge Knight and G Unit. Someone sucker punched Dr. Dre while Snoop and Quincy were about to present him with a special award. All hell broke loose. Celebrities were running for cover.”

While unsupported by facts, some early reports stated that Knight was stabbed in the brawl and others said that a member of G-Unit was stabbed. Other reports state that nobody was cut.

The show was halted immediately and more details will be unveiled as they are available.

let me tell you what really happend my uncle was co director of the show suge knight did not get on stage some one did sucker punch dre lyod banks was the first one to come to dres aide after that about 20 aftermath cats stopped the shit outta dude and after that all hell broke loose some one did get stabbed my uncle could not see who but the police took the tapes he was also recording some side of the stage footage the the po-pos took his tape this is real talk a lot of people are gonna be getting the story twisted but this is the truth he caaled me right after it happend you could hear people screaming and running a fucked up thing,suge was in the building though

Suge is a moron all he understands is violence. if i was in a postion to hold sway in rap over artists. I would scour the streets for an elite team of mc's with real skills then go after 50 and dre real skills show real things.
