"According to K-Sly of 100.3 The Beat, 50 Cent was arrested after the Vibe Awards erupted in violence last night. As most of you know, Dr. Dre was attacked backstage right before he was supposed to recieve his "Lifetime Achievement Award"! The G-Unit was also backstage and if you know 50, you know he doesn't play around when it comes to things like this. When 50 saw what was going on, he jumped in and according to eye-witnesses, he was literally beating down two men at the same time, then moved on to another. 50 was caught on tape so later into the night, the police show up during the show, handcuff 50 and others who were involved in the violence and take them. Now of course this caused even more drama! When people saw 50 was being arrested, there was a huge comotion and of course people started yelling 50's slogan (G-g-g-g Unit) to show their support for 50. At the end of the night, 5 people were seriously hurt (3 of them hurt by 50) and one person was stabbed (it's rumored that it was someone associated with G-Unit). Let's just hope 50 doesn't get charged with anything, seeing as he was acting in self-defense (but we all saw what happened to Shyne. He acted in self defense and now he's doing time)."

YEA DRE GOT STOLE ON BY SOME BYSTANDER WHO CAME @ HIM IN PEACE, THEN WENT FOR STEAL. RUMORS ON OTHER WEBSITES SAYIN THAT SUGE HAD SOMETJN TO DO WITH. I DON'T KNOW.

Violence Erupts At Vibe Awards

The second annual Vibe Awards, an evening meant to honor hip-hop and R&B, was disrupted by a melee Monday night (November 15).

Reports are sketchy, but according to eyewitnesses, as Snoop Dogg and Quincy Jones were onstage getting ready to present Dr. Dre with the Vibe Legend Award, Dre was attacked backstage. Witnesses said Dre was standing next to his wife when the man approached in a friendly manner, and then all of a sudden starting punching the rapper/producer in the head,landing at least one blow.When bodyguards and people with the G-Unit jumped in to protect Dre, things quickly got out of control both backstage and in the audience.

At one point, witnesses said, Suge Knight got onstage and yelled, "F--- the G-Unit," then hurled insults at the crowd. While there were some reports that a man with the G-Unit's entourage was stabbed, a spokesperson for the group had no comment on the matter. Some audience members were reportedly maced during the outbreak of violence.


After the dust settled at least 10 minutes later, the show went on. The audience at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, was then treated to a performance of "Drop It Like It's Hot" by Snoop with Pharrell Williams. Jadakiss also performed and was joined by Anthony Hamilton and Common.

but why did they not go after snoop,suge an them should have went after snoop wit all them diss tracks he made on suge and tha row an plus snoop acts like he the biggest crip in the world.but damn if thas true 50 handled business but then again that dont take away the fact that he's a snitch.

Ha ha, muthafuccas talk all that shit about 50, he's a busta, he ain't gangsta etc (I don't know if he snitched or not, I ain't seen no paperwork), but he still puttin' hands on muthafuccas.

They got some of the footage at mtv.com. In one report it said 20 aftermath niggaz mashed the fool who stole on Dre. Them niggaz were ridin' for Dre, and they even said Dre was fightin bacc in another report.

This rap game amazes me. Whey would a nigga want to steal on Dre (with his wife right there), just because he's successful!!! What other reason do they have to be mad at the nigga! What reason did he have not to like Dre? The nigga ain't no banger, and NEVER said he was. He's a producer. Now watch the nigga 50 put hands on try to sue him. Now that's some bitch shit. Niggaz need to re-evaluate who they think are real, and stop not likin' niggaz just cuz they made it. 1
