I saw some shit on tv called VH1 Full Access...they talkin about whack hip hop videos and the stuff ppl do in dem...then they start talkin bout slang and who the give credit to?...fucken weak ass snoop....they act like he the godfatha of slang...then they pan out and do a thing on lil john...it shows him talkin to 40 in his video...and 40 be spittin about a buck50...then VH1 goes yea and that Lil' John got that slang nobody can understand (muthafucka it was 40 doing the spitting)...WTF is up wit these people? They sure don't do their homework....

You can't really expect much from VH1 though. I highly doubt they have anyone on their research team that really has their ear to the streets, especially the Bay Area streets.
What's worse to me is when media outlets IN the Bay don't do the proper research. I've seen so many articles in Bay Area publications about our own artists that had numerous errors. Even the most basic shit like proper spelling of labels/names. I can't count how many times in Bay Area publications that I've seen "Coughnut" instead of Cougnut or "Sic'-Wid-It" instead of Sick Wid' It. Some people may think those are minor details, but those are identities and when you have an identity you want to see it presented properly.
Back to the point though, we can't really expect a worldwide media outlet to get our shit right when media outlets in our own backyard can't get our shit straight.

vh1's coo,thats the only video channel i watch.as far as programming....but the slang shit is an easy mistake.like Doxx said,they aint got the best research team,niether does b.e.t. or mtv cus i seen them make identical mistakes....
