My phone just quit giving service around one something-ish. I call Verizon and they give me this shit about my phone being (perhaps) no good anymore.

I'm thinking BULLSHIT!

I used my babies mama celly (different service) and called my Homie who's also on Verizon and I couldn't get through. I tried calling a shit load of Verizon users and couldn't get through...

Called Verizon again and I was told some shit broke up in San Jose that's affecting cell phone users (Verizon, amongst others) to not have service.

I was told it's affecting users from Eureka all the way down to Santa Barba.

Any Siccness members expirencing this shit?

i hadn't had Service since after one Also and still don't i calld Verizon and they said there was a black out in all of California, and they where workin on it idk how tru this is but i'm kind of pissd cuz i haven't had Service almost all day! N i was about to make Thread Also! i calld it from my house phone and it say can't complete ur call at this time due to heavy callin try later!

I pretty pissed myself. I was about to launch my phone across the fuckin' street earlier. I was told they had a shit load of calls from the Salad Bowl area though. I guess it's affecting us the most (IDK).

The first Verizon person I talked to asked, "How far are you from Compton?"

LOL!!!! I was like, "WTF?!?!?!?"

i've calld other Verizon phones and it says da same shit My Brother N Sum Friends Have Da Same Proublem its off da hook, and i was tellin my lil brother to swich to Verizon From T-Moble cuz T-Moble Sucks, N Today he was talkin Shit cuz of da black out!

Hopefully they can hook u up with some kind of rebate or something for the service fucking up.


I had T-Mo in 05, some shit happened and it didn't work for a day or 2. They gave me something, i don't remember if it was a discount or coupon or some shit, but they gave me something.

I don't really know Brugh, they just said 24 hrs. I asked, but they just said their on that shit...they refuse to answer questions about what happened.

I feel you though, I'm gonna call them and ask for some kind of discount (shit), something to cover lost time.

Yea it's sad how dependent we are on cell phones now. My shit broke last spring, i went one day without a phone before i could get a new one. Hella felt like a fish outta water.


That's surprising though. I'm goin on 2 years with The Network and its never messed up before.

Outage Could Last Up To 48 Hours, Store Workers Say

SALINAS, Calif. -- A Verizon network outage has shut down parts of cellular phone service for customers throughout the Central Coast.

There are conflicting reports as to the cause of the outage, but Verizon customer service representatives said service may be out for anywhere between one and 24 hours.

Much of the Central Coast has been affected to varying degrees, including:

Carmel

Chico

King City

Monterey

Pebble Beach

Redding

Salinas

San Jose

San Luis Obispo

Verizon spokeswoman Heidi Flato said the problems were related to a cut fiber optic line that is owned by Qwest Communications.

The cable will need to be repaired before full service can be restored, Flato said.

i just calld and they told me da same shit but they didn't say how long it was going to take and didn't want to tell me whats going on, i askd for a Discount and they said i have to wait for my bill to come in, and call em back!
