Verizon HELP!

...so my nephew bought this cell phone off this other dude at his school ($15.00) no biggie, shit is legit. It was a prepaid cell. The only problem is, I wanted to switch the number and name on it...to my nephews name. I need an access security code (4 digits), I tried the last four digits of the phone number and even dude stopped by and didn't know it after a few attempts.

I know some of you BART / OPEN FORUM Family members work for some of these companies. Is there a loop hole I can work around to get this switched?

If it's an LG or like a samsung u740, after doing the ESN change when you do the *228 programming the security code will reset to the last 4 digits of the activating number. If it's an LG it will still let you do the programming or dial 911. If you need more help pm me and I'll set you up with someone at the store in Salas if you want to have the password reset.

Does your nephew already have service? Is he going to be using it for prepaid?

Thank you for the replies. I actually went through my line and got Verizon to to just shut out the previous account and start a fresh one (under my nephew's name).

Yeah Brugh, he ended up getting the power pack with unlimited nights and weekends...on a prepaid deal.

I'm still open to get him a better deal (if possible), so holla if ya hear meh!
