Venues in Sac for Performances

Whats good people......What clubs and/or bars out here in sac support local artists and will ACTUALLY let them perform and will pay them for the performance??????????? I'm trying to set up shows for C-Way but i figure maybe someone on here might got some info for me................AND only places that pay...money at the door and maybe a percentage of the bar...........i'm not interested in free shows cuz im not trying to put on a talent and show if were bringing in people we have to get paid.....get bacc at me

its ruff out here for paying gigs.. thats why i throw my own shit.. and i pay artist that come with a following.. its all about who puts asses in the seats.. thats been the name of the game since the beginning of time

has anyone ever tried Zohkus????? Or empire???? I get myspace bulletins everyday about someone performing at empire and they're all local people........

all dem downtown clubs are gettin more open to the backpack/hip hop/tight pants scene and supportin that but not so much for gangsta/street scene


+ u can throw a show at any club if u rent it for the night

no love (also a good dude)and his camp can bring a crowd when they want to

Have been around for more than a minute but have never known "backpack" scene...what/who is that referring to?
