Brookings hospitality didn't extend to two entertainers in the city Wednesday evening. Police took two reports early this morning of windshields smashed on vehicles in the Swiftel Center parking lot. Detective Brett Spencer said the targeted vehicles, a black Mitsubishi box truck and a white International truck, both belonged to musical groups performing with the Tech N9ne Strictly Strange tour, which had a show at the Swiftel Center on Wednesday. The front windshields on both trucks were smashed, with at least one of the two hit with a rock left at the scene. The vandalism was reported to police at about midnight and is believed to have occurred sometime after 10 p.m. Wednesday. There are no suspects in the case.
