upgrading your pc for burning capabilitys (tech question)

here's the scenario.

a while back i bought a burner and every song would stutter and skip so we took it back and got our money.

well

i don't have a great computer i bought it in 98.

i was wondering do i need a fast cd rom if i wanna get a good burner?

whut was my problem?

try burning at a slower speed and dont do shit on ur computer when ur burning

make sure the cd-r is capable of burning at fast speeds

i heard that u should burn audio cd on cd rw .. dont ask me why

get a burner with burnproof
