Update from Canada: Election over.

Who's been paying attention to Canada? With the last election only 2 years ago Stephen Harper decided it would be a good idea to call another election. Well voting ended today and the conservatives win another minority government. It was to be expected, dissapointment all around anyways. Here's how things looked:

Conservatives: 143 seats
Liberals:76 seats
BQ: 50 seats
NDP: 37 seats
Green Party: 0 seats

Looks like Stephen Harper and the Conservatives gained quite a few seats from 2006.

Sad but true, not even most canadians cared. Lowest voter turn out ever in canada this election. At work talk was all about obama/palin.

Canadians care more about the United States political landscape than the Canadian political landscape by a scary margin.

They better be careful with the lackadaisical attitude....
