Anyone even know who he is? He plays for the University of New Mexico so of course I follow him and watch him play at home. He's the #1 scoring player in the nation at 28.2 points per game. Last night he dropped 43 on Wyoming. Dude is rippin' shit up in conference play. He's averaging something like 36 points per game in conference play. Watch out for him......

He put down 28 points last night in a 82-72 win over Colorado State. He was 7-14 from the field, 10-11 from the FT line, and 4-7 from beyond the arc....He also snagged 8 boards in 31 minutes....

Hopefully he'll get drafted and make the transition in the NBA. I've gotta give him a lot of props for stickin' with UNM after the coach resigned after last season and shit. He seems like a quiet, humble dude, so he gets respect on that too....

He's a Senior.....Yeah I agree he's not playing against top ranking opponents, but some of the teams he's lit up have been some of the better defensive teams in the country. Against San Diego State he was 12-26 from the floor including 4-9 behind the arc. He was 15-16 from the FT line (He missed his last FT of the game), had 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals......

He kind of reminds me of Courtney Alexander, my boy out of Fresno State a couple years ago. He lead the entire nation in scoring when the season ended, but he didnt really get alot of top ranked apponents. That shouldnt affect his draft pick all that much. Alexander had numerous scouts attending almost every big game he played in, he ended up going 13th overall, which was VERY dissapointing, we were looking at like a 6-10 pick. Your boy looks tight, I like players like this, imma keep an eye on this guy.

I watched Courntey play when he was here with the Bullets the last year and a half and was real impressed with what he does. Courtney still has a chance to be a very good NBA player. He's got a lightning quick first step and a nice jumper.....Obviously Jordan doesnt feel the same way cause he traded him to N.O. for the 17th pick which turned out to be Juan Dixon......I was kind of dissapointed cause Courtney was fun to watch.....But I think Dixon will be a solid starter in years to come.

One thing you will notice about Courtney is he jumps extremely high on his jumpshots, making it hard to be blocked. Last year Courtney made some comments about Jordan about how the the team wanted to be fast pased and Jordan needed to keep up. The media blew it up like Courtney was the bad guy, but he meant nothing like it sounded. I think that, and the fact he plays the same position is the reason they traded him. He will be a good player some day.

Ruben is a FUCKIN' HOGG......He scored 39 points today in a 76-69 upset win over #23 Utah. He had 14 rebounds, and was 26-31 from the FT line....that's right Utah sent him to the line 31 times. He was 20-23 from the FT line in the second half.
