A special package delivered at Universal records -posted 19 Aug 2003 by Mellennium
Last week, a package was delivered at 1755 broadway, that's the address of Universal records and the package had a big surprise in there.
According to the New York post, a box weighing approximimately 150 pounds was delivered at the Universal records offices, addressed to a person name "Ronnie', the box allegedly had 825 Broadway, Universal's other addresss, and also the address of Def jam and rocafella records.
Universal's Body guards tried to X-rays the box, but the X-ray failed to reveal the contents of the box. they couldn't see what was inside, so they had no choice but to opened it, when they opened the box, the guards was shocked of what they found inside.
it was 4 small boxes of marijuana, worth about a million dollars, the guards called the Feds, and then begin an investigation.
They think it was defenitely for someone at Universal because of the address being crossed out and say that "Ronnie" was a code, the guys who usually work in the mailroon on that day had probably gotten packages like that before and knew what to do with it.
