Uninstalling DirectX9

wasn't sure where to post this to get a good response, since its related to SONAR i figured i'd post it here...

does anybody know a way to uninstall DirectX 9 (it doesn't come with an uninstill)...the reason is because i can't install SONAR2, it won't run with DirextX 9 installed...my copy of SONAR2 is a downloaded and craked version...any help would be appreciated...

NOTE: i would just install SONAR3, but it won't run correctly on my computer...

Once you install a new dx, I don't think you can go back to a lower version without having some issues. I'ld go to www.microsoft.com and check the knowledgebase there for the best answer.

Which DX9 version? a b or c?

Do you have a back up image of your os and system (GHOST)? You can try REMOVING the direct x stuff and downloading the version you need. When I speak of removing I mean using a program like REGEDIT to remove ALL associated files and extensions. Have you hit the microsoft site yet?

thanks for that information...i found a program that worked...incase anybody my need it its called "DirectX Happy Uninstall"...
