Voters in Arlington narrowly approved a recall measure, removing Carmen Kontur-Gronquist from office.
Kontur-Gronquist posed for pictures on a fire truck in a black bra and panties before she became mayor.
A relative posted the pictures on MySpace, hoping it might improve the social life of the single mother.
The pictures stayed online once Kontur-Gronquist was elected.
However, she later restricted public access after it became an issue.
