ulead3d issue HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got a prob.....
on ulead cool 3d
I try to get a "chrome" out line look with the premade selection
but when I try to change the color the whole fonts color changes

i dunno but in swift3D v3, the face, beveled, and sides are different areas where you can add color.
