you ever take a class that you put 100% effort in it but you still cant seem to focus on it or get "into" it?

i can read the text and take the exams and pass them but when it comes to discussion...i feel like a mute.

maybe im just not grasping it.

this sucks.

i rarely discuss in any class, i just like to learn the shit on my own and listen to others talk, i still get good grades so i dont really feel the need to talk

Ya................self-directed learning might be your best option yet.
well i haven't taken any real focused major classes yet because im only gonna be a 2nd year. So far ive been in large lecture classes where no one really discusses, some people just ask questions from time to time so i dont feel a need to talk. Once i get into my smaller more personal major classes then yeah ill most likely discuss and interact more.

And I know exactly how you feel KV. I just look for girls in the class to keep me interested in going to class and "learning"...

this is an online class so no eye-candy for me. LOL

If it is business ethics, and involves like business law or something like that, it can be easy.

Talk about the subject at hand, whatever the discussion is about. Involve either your opinion or the answer to the question. If you can expand on something someone else said, do it. Make a reference to the text where this subject is discussed, complete with cited reference at the bottom of your response. This way, even if your answer aint all that long and complicated, it still looks official. Include, if you can, a link to a reputable website that backs up your point. Also give the citation at the bottom with link. Include a picture or graph from the website, again it makes your answer look hella official. Good website would prolly be an .edu or .org or .net or something.

Good luck!
