In his comeback fight Tank Abbott taped out in 45 seconds to Frank Mir the Machado Borthers trained Jiu Jitsu wiz. Tank never had a chance to land a bomb, but it was talked up a fight for him against Ken Shamrock.

BJ Penn got screwed out of the lightweight tittle by the judges. Look for Penn/Uno III in the near future.

In the upset of the night, Millitech Fighting Systems trained Tim Sylvia knocked out Heavyweight champ Ricco Rodriguez to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion.

2 fights for UFC 42 announced. Robbie Lawlor against Pete Spratt and in the main event, undefeated Sean Sherk takes on UFC Champ Matt Hughes.

Thats all for now less then 3 hours before the Jnes/Ruiz PPV starts.

He could have waited a little longer and had his foot and ankle broken. As is he hobbled badly out of the cage and invited everyone to meet him at the bar for drinks.

i never thought ricco rodriguez was for real. he had me LMAO when he won the title and started talking about he could take out any1 including Minitaro Noguera

Word is Ricco passed out after the fight and was rushed to the Hospital with a broken jaw and concussion.

Also Japanese phenom Genki Sudo lost in K1 tonight. He needs to get back in the cage where he belongs.
