this is the sickest card UFC has lined up right now.
Chuck vs. Rich- classic legends fight
Cro Cop vs. Barry- top of the line stikers
Kampmann vs. Thiago- potential #1 contender fight
Condit vs. Rory Mac- Condit's last chance to be a contender or Rory's breakout fight
Tyson vs. Dunham- Barnburner

and if they throw Fitch vs. Alves on there fucking forget about it

UFC 115 in Vancouver officially fastest sellout in UFC history

As expected UFC 115 is the fastest sellout in Ultimate Fighting Championship history.

On Tuesday MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) passed along a Twitter message from UFC president Dana White, who stated tickets for the June 12 event sold out just 30 minutes after a pre-sale period began.

UFC officials today confirmed the show topped UFC 83 – another Canadian event – for the quickest sellout in the promotion's history.

UFC 115 takes place at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The pay-per-view event features a headliner between "The Ultimate Fighter 11" coach Chuck Liddell and "TUF 11" replacement coach Rich Franklin. However, the main event probably played a rather small role in producing the sellout; White and other UFC officials long have stated that the Vancouver area provides some of the highest PPV buyrates and that ticket sales were expected to be brisk.

Of course, that's the case with most of Canada. The event that previously hosted the sellout record, UFC 83, marked the UFC's Canadian debut and took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal. After the pre-sale period, the show sold out less than a minute into the public on-sale period.

UFC 115 sales, though, never even made it to the public on-sale date. Members of the UFC Fight Club, the UFC's official fan club, scooped up all the tickets in just 30 minutes. (Even members of the UFC's e-newsletter, who traditionally get their own pre-sale right after the UFC Fight Club, never got an opportunity to purchase tickets.)

Despite the overwhelming demand, UFC 115 was nearly moved from Vancouver to Cincinnati. However, two weeks ago, a three-hour emergency meeting of the Vancouver City Council, which included UFC officials, satisfied the city's concerns over legal liability and insurance costs.

The full UFC 115 card includes:

MAIN CARD

* Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
* Patrick Barry vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
* Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago
* Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald
* Evan Dunham vs. Tyson Griffin
* Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch*

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
* Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
* Peter Sobotta vs. James Wilks
* Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick
* Jesse Lennox vs. Mike Pyle

* - Not officially announced

Spike TV's UFC 115 "UFC Prelims" special features Griffin vs. Dunham, Danzig vs. Wiman

Spike TV again will offer a "UFC Prelims" special when UFC 115 lightweight bouts of Tyson Griffin (14-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) vs. Evan Dunham (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Mac Danzig (19-7-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) vs. Matt Wiman (11-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) air as part of a one-hour special.

Although Spike TV officials could not confirm the plans, a source close to the event told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) the "UFC Prelims" special recently was approved.

UFC 115 takes place June 12 at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and the "UFC Prelims" special airs at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) as a teaser to the night's pay-per-view broadcast.

The show features a main event between "The Ultimate Fighter 11" coach Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin, who replaces original coach Tito Ortiz at some point in the reality show.

Official announcement of the "UFC Prelims" special is expected next week.

Griffin vs. Dunham originally was scheduled for the night's PPV-televised main card. A heavyweight bout pitting Ben Rothwell (30-7 MMA, 0-1 UFC) against Gilbert Yvel (36-14-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has taken its slot and been promoted from the preliminary card. Danzig vs. Wiman was also slated for the un-aired preliminary card but now gets TV exposure. (UFC and Spike TV officials traditionally like to feature past cast members from "The Ultimate Fighter" and UFC Fight Night regulars for the specials.)

The UFC and Spike TV have contracted 10 "UFC Prelims" specials for 2010. The UFC and Spike TV opted to skip a special for this weekend's UFC 113 event but has one slated for UFC 114 and now UFC 115.

Six "UFC Prelims" specials have aired since UFC 103, and they've drawn from 1.2 million viewers (UFC 111) to 1.7 million viewers (UFC 109). They consistently score well in the UFC and Spike TV's targeted demographics and help drive last-minute PPV buys.

The latest UFC 115 card now includes:

* Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
* Patrick Barry vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
* Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago
* Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
* Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

* Evan Dunham vs. Tyson Griffin
* Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

* David Loiseau vs. Mario Miranda
* Peter Sobotta vs. James Wilks
* Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick
* Jesse Lennox vs. Mike Pyle
