Tyga's album moves around 51k opening week.
The numbers are in for Tyga's new album, Hotel California.
The YMCMB release was expected to sell 45-50k, and did just slightly above that. Hotel California landed at #7 on the charts, moving 51,466 units according to HDD. Tyga's last album, Careless World, did slightly better than this, moving 61,000.
Although some of his fellow YMCMB signees are used to selling large amounts, Tyga said in an interview recently that for him, it's the final number that counts.
