What's good with everybody in the Washington area. I know it has been a minute since I sent out a newsletter. I hope everybody has been enjoying this beautiful summer weather.
The Turf Grindaz have been staying busy, doing shows and continuing to promote their album, "Poundin' Tha Pavement" which has been receiving rave reviews in the streets as well as the internet. We have been featured on many mixtapes and compilations both nationally and internationally. We just received a review from BayUndaground, I want to send a special shout out to Khamenei.

Recently the Turf Grindaz was fortunate enough to be the special guest performers at the Outtasite and Sir-Mix-Alot show in Wenatchee, Washington on April 30th, 2010. It was a sold out event and I had the time of my life. We also performed the next night on May 1st, 2010 to a packed house @ The Volcano Club with Platinum Producer DJ FunkDaddy. It was Apple Blossom weekend and I got out and mingled with the people of Wenatchee, I sold a few of my solo albums as well as the Turf Grindaz' project. It was an amazing time for me. Much love & respect to my folks GU of Elevation 420.
Unfortunately there were a few problems and I am sad to announce that the Turf Grindaz are no longer a group. We decided to end our business relationship to pursue our solo careers. However I do wish Brent O.G the best. He is a very talened and gifted artist and engineer.
I am starting a new solo album with my friend and long time collaborator DJ FunkDaddy. We have a few things lined up and we will be recording for the new project entitled "Hood Tested, Gangsta Approved" in the next couple of days.
I have a new club night every Saturday @ Club Broadway called "Sexy Ladies' Saturdays" with DJ FunkDaddy. Every saturday we will be hosting a Wet T-Shirt Contest with the prize being $100. So if you are interested in having a good time, please stop by for good music and amazing entertainment. Ladies get in free til 10:30pm and there is a $5 cover. There are drink specials as well. We will also have live entertainment from a local rap group named T.V.R.
Last but not least, Andy Valdes, the Seattle Chapter President of Rollerz Only has bestowed upon me and FunkDaddy the honor of putting together the live entertainment for the July 3rd, 2010 2nd Annual Roll Out Car, Truck & Bike Show, hosted by Rollerz Only 206. And needless to say that I am taking this position very seriously. Every performer selected wth be talented, entertaining and most of all, professional. So with that said, let me give you a lineup of who is scheduled to perform:
