You can do it that way but thats wack. Just split your drums out like I told you last night Mark! lol

And make use of the effects if you need more volume. It's a zillion times faster to do it that way.

So when you need to mix your drum sounds after you finish your beat (which everyone SHOULD BE doing), then you have to go through all that hassle. Fuck all that! I already gave the best solution which is:
