Just got my copy of this limited edition (100 total) first time CD release and love it! Like most of us in the classifieds forum we go back and love that gold old mobb sound and this one comes thru! I originally wanted to check-it out because Cac (RIP) was featured on it but everyone on this album can rip. I can see why Sincere and Tripple Dub got together to release it on CD, also the 5 additional previously unreleased tracks (17 total) fall right in line and not sure why they weren't on the OG tape because they hit.

Here is a sample track: http://www.zshare.net/audio/188876540799ec28/

For more info on how to pick up an OG copy before they are gone go here:

Been real busy w/ work these last couple months and been MIA for the most part but felt strong enough to make time for this thread...please trust me on this one if you've been on the fence about buying.

Unfortunately the company helping w/ the rerelease got them on this one...it was never intended to be pressed on CD-R. The full color print on disc looks great and the only way to tell is by the disc color on the backside. It sounds exactly the same and it will only make a difference if you don't take care of your stuff.

sure it sounds the same
but its just that cd-rs dont last as long as og cds do
and its just cheaper if you look at the cd even if they do a high quality print

so collectors appreciate more if its an og cd

but 4 sho if its not out in another form a classic release like this is also great on cd-r

General question about the album. Did the tape version ever come wit B/W insert? Because I've only seen the color inserted one but never the B/W. Could the B/W insert appear only on the CD version? sentenced, you probably know the answer...

Could the B/W insert appear only on the CD version?
99% positive that it was a tape only at first, and the tape was a color only insert. When the cd was manufactured tripple dub just took the color tape insert and photo copied it for the cd front insert, and the cd never came with a back insert.

Photo copy = black and white, since back then you probably didn't have the option of making it a color copy (or was too costly), which is why the cd insert is black and white only.

If you want a full correct answer in detail about this I would just ask Sincere, since he knows tripple dub in person and sells his cds for him, so he would be the person to ask.
